Organic Irish Sea Moss - Botanical Powder

Sea moss, or Chondrus crispus, is a type of red algae that can be found on the Atlantic coast of North America and Europe, as well as throughout the Caribbean, Asia and Africa. This seaweed is naturally rich in carrageenan, which is commonly used as a thickening agent in many different foods and products. In powdered form, our Organic Irish moss can be added to smoothies, processed into ready-to-use gels, or steeped into a broth. 

Sea moss is incredibly nutrient and mineral dense making it a wellness powerhouse. The human body is made up of 102 minerals and Irish moss contains 92 of them. It also contains protein, vitamins C, B, A, K and taurine. If you are consuming a vegan or vegetarian diet, sea moss is a wonderful addition to supplement the nutrients normally lacking in those diets. Recently, sea moss has shone in the beauty space, with its high sulfur content showing some promise in aiding breakouts and balancing the skin.
